Laminitis, diffuse, marked, acute to subacute with extensive P3 separation from the inner hoof wall and sole, which is accompanied by hemorrhage arising from the laminar dermis. The separation extends to the coronary band. This is an example of inflammatory laminitis occurring secondary to colitis
